On the occasion of AGP’s 60th anniversary

Since its foundation in 1965, AGP Corporation (referred to as “AGP”) has been supplying power (electricity and air conditioning) to parked aircraft at eight major airports in Japan. Over the years, AGP has built a solid reputation as a company committed to environmental sustainability in the airport industry. As we celebrate our 60th anniversary in 2025, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our customers, partner companies, and employees who have supported us throughout this journey.

Unique Japanese technology contributes to decarbonisation

AGP provides a unique Japanese airport infrastructure technology called “Fixed-type GPU/PCA underground system”. This technology supplies electricity and air conditioning to aircraft through underground pipes from power receiving and transforming facilities installed at the airport. By reducing surface congestion of equipment and vehicles, it enhances safety while also maintaining the aesthetics of the airport environment. The underground structure is specifically designed to prevent deterioration caused by weather conditions such as wind and rain, ensuring high durability and a stable supply capacity.
The introduction of AGP technology reduces the use of aircraft auxiliary engines (APUs), which reduces CO₂ emissions by approximately 90% and also contributes to noise reduction. This enables sustainable and environmentally friendly airport operations and makes a significant contribution to the decarbonisation of the aviation industry.

Neutral and impartial infrastructure services

As an independent listed company, AGP’s mission is to provide neutral, impartial and safe infrastructure services to all customers. By strengthening its function as a public infrastructure and building a stable revenue base, AGP aims to increase its corporate value sustainably.

Growth strategy for a sustainable future

Against a background of volatility in the aviation industry, AGP is actively developing its business outside of airports. We are taking up the challenge of creating new business models by utilising the technology and experience we have developed in Japan and overseas. In particular, we are pursuing the development of new business models. One of our key growth strategies includes expanding into the Thai market, where we are partnering with local companies to create new growth opportunities.

Strengthening ESG management and governance

AGP is accelerating its investment in human capital with a focus on ESG management, aiming to “Realise growth” and “Balance strategic investment and returns”. Through the promotion of the use of ground power units (GPUs) and renewable energy initiatives, AGP is further strengthening its contribution to the environment and increasing its corporate value.
In addition, in line with the Standard Market concept, we are committed to sustainable growth and medium- to long-term corporate value enhancement while maintaining high standards of governance as a listed company. To this end, we have strengthened our information disclosure and investor relations activities, ensuring accountability and reliability in our operations.
Furthermore, in response to the high volatility of the aviation industry, AGP is accelerating the diversification of its business portfolio, aiming to reduce dependency on traditional revenue sources.
We already have many talented foreign engineers working for us, and we will develop diversity management that emphasises diversity and initiative.
For AGP, human resources are the driving force behind value creation and our greatest capital. We regard our employees as important stakeholders and invest in strategic human resource development and training to build a viable organisation. In this way, we can realise increased corporate value together with employee growth and support sustainable development.

Vision for the future

AGP will continue to drive innovation as a leading company in creating sustainable airport environments and contributing to global environmental goals.
By balancing environmental contributions with profitability, we aim to further enhance our corporate value, becoming an attractive company for our shareholders, society, and employees alike.

Last but not least, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to everyone who has supported us thus far, and we kindly ask for your continued support in the years ahead.

Sincerely

December 2024
